SCIENCE MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is for students to become scientifically-literate members of society by developing problem-solving skills through the use of inquiry-based methods, hands-on activities, technology, and pictorial, graphical, linguistic, and mathematical practices to gather and apply personal knowledge in our ever-changing world. 

• Earth, life, and physical science courses are included in the K-12 science curriculum.

• Through PLC meetings and committee work, teachers will complete curriculum maps in grades K-12, will refine instructions, and will revise units as necessary.

• Staff members will continue to support assemblies, projects, and presentations that stimulate students' learning of science and preparation for the 21st century
