WORLD LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Department of World Language is to educate, equip, and empower students linguistically and culturally to communicate successfully in a global environment.  Students will connect with other subject areas and compare their second language study with the study of their native language.  To this end, the department will emphasize the four skills of listening, reading, speaking, and writing following the National Standards for World Language Learning.
